The name
Awake when you are not, a fence where it matters
Wake is vigilance: it watches around the clock and looks at every alert the moment it arrives, at three on a Sunday morning as much as on a Tuesday, and when something needs a person it calls one.
Fence is containment and defense in depth: it isolates a compromised device or account before damage spreads, with the tools you already own and only as far as you allow, and between incidents it strengthens the fence.
The artichoke
Layers of protection around what matters
An artichoke is layers of armored bracts around a tender core, which is how good security works. Its pointed tips discourage whoever reaches for the core, and the plant looks calm doing it. It is also an Italian plant, from an Italian company.
