Privacy notice
This notice explains how Wakefence S.r.l. processes personal data when you visit wakefence.com or write to us. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
Who is responsible
The controller is Wakefence S.r.l., via Lungobrembo 62d, 24035 Curno (BG), Italy. You can reach us at info@wakefence.com.
What we process, and why
- When you visit the site. Our hosting provider records technical data of each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's identification, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- When you write to us. We process your name, email address and what you tell us in order to reply, arrange a demo or prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
The site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it loads no fonts or scripts from third parties.
Who else handles the data
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure and our email runs on Microsoft 365. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited processes the data on our behalf under its Data Protection Addendum. Where data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards of that addendum apply, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Hosting logs are kept for the short period the hosting provider needs for operation and security. Emails are kept for as long as the conversation and any resulting business relationship require, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, the restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@wakefence.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
